The 'Bada Gola' Kimono

A powerful and mysterious colour, yet almost childlike in its qualities - one that has to be tended to closely and loved, only then it proceeds to evolve into that perfect hue! Here is a glimpse of our journey for all Indigo lovers. Another one of our little experiments at the workshop proved to be really worthwhile. The printing method applied here is called ā€˜Distressed Printingā€™, where we use a special Discharge ink to deactivate the colour on the fabric; itā€™s like having a negative effect on a positive. The patterns printed with this ink expose the beautiful Natural Gold of the finest Ahimsa silk, creating a stunning effect against the dominant Indigo.

Model height is 5ft 7 inches (170 cm) and is wearing Free size.
